To breathe or not to breathe?

For audio books and interviews, do you leave the breaths in or take them out?

Breathing is a natural part of speech. To listen so someone talk and not hear breaths is a strange and unnatural experience. Breaths and the space in and between sentences provide emotion and clarity to the words spoken.

Jayme Mattler, producer/director at a major publishers says "...But audiobooks is its own art form! Breath is a part of the performance. It literally breathes life into your characters."
